Written & Directed by R Balki, not much has been revealed as far as the plot is concerned. But looking at the promos it seems it is a story of a yester year Super Star played by Amitabh Bachchan and a New Super Star of today played by Dhanush…
The movie has an interesting cast comprising of Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, Introducing Akshara Haasan (Kamal Haasan & Sarika’s daughter), Rekha, Abhinaya, Rukmini Vijayakumar & Rajiv Ravindranathan,, it also has cameos of lot of film makers like Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Anurag Basu, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Rajkumar Hirani, Gauri Shinde, Boney Kapoor, Javed Akhtar & Ekta Kapoor..
“Shamitabh” is being produced under the banner of Hope Productions, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation, Wunderbar Films, Balaji Motion Pictures and being presented by Eros International & MAD Entertainment Ltd.
Music is by Illaiyaraaja and cinematography by P C Sreeram….
Will the director actor combination of R Balki & Amitabh Bachchan re-create the magic…well we have to wait till 6th Feb’15 for the verdict…till then enjoy the Trailer
